Grade 12 Graduation
The Eliza Van Bibber School Class of 2021 is graduating on Friday June 4th. We are following COVID-19 guidelines and protocols for this ceremony. This event is invite only for this year. We know you may want to join the Grads in their celebration. So we can all celebrate, we will be having a Class of 2021 Graduation parade starting at 5:30pm at the school. We will follow the same route as last year going from the town side to Jon Ra and then Willow Creek (parade route can be viewed on the school website: evb.yukonschools.ca). Come out to the end of the driveway or road and make some noise as we celebrate the grads! If you would like to give a card or gift to the grads you can drop it off at the school or hand it to a member of the parade group.

Government of Yukon offering support to families impacted by COVID-19
Families with children in Kindergarten to Grade 12 who have been impacted by COVID-19 are eligible for $250 per student from the Government of Yukon.
Face-to-face classes are suspended for the remainder of the 2019–20 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are learning from home with support and guidance from teachers and school staff. This funding will help to offset costs for Yukon families with children learning from home during this time.
The primary caregiver for a family should apply for the funding through Sport Yukon, who will issue the funding on behalf of the Department of Education. To apply, please visit: sportyukon.com/events-page/news. You can also contact Sport Yukon at 867-668-4236 or [email protected] for support. Apply by June 12, 2020.
We recognize that many students and families have been impacted by COVID-19 and are facing different challenges as they learn and work from home during this pandemic. We are offering this funding directly to families, who are in the best position to determine their needs and supports as students continue learning and developing skills from home during this unprecedented time.

involved parent community, and an outstanding student population
